The Women Were Always There
Mary Magdalene at the tomb. Lydia opening her home in Philippi. Prisca teaching in Corinth and Ephesus. Phoebe carrying Paul's letter to Rome. The women were always there: preaching, leading, funding, and bearing witness. Somewhere along the way, their stories got pushed to the margins.
I've spent my life excavating their stories, from the fragments, from the stone, and from the dust. I'm Rev. Dr. Kimberly Majeski, a Bible scholar, preacher, and pilgrim guide. I believe women called to ministry deserve to know they stand in a long and holy line.
